Some pages to work with present simple and continuous

http://www.isabelperez.com/happy/tenses/present_cont.htm : this web page is for teenagers but it’s very interesting and really funny. You can find a lot of material here.

http://www.eclecticenglish.com/grammar/PresentContinuous1F.html : a page to do exercises on line. There are different kinds of exercises. Not very attractive but useful.

http://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/grammar/present-progressive : grammar explanation and exercises.

http://www.englisch-hilfen.de/en/complex_tests/simple_present_progressive2/index.php : a short exercise but varied.

http://esl.about.com/od/beginningenglish/ig/Basic-English/Present-Simple-or-Continuous.htm : this is a good explanation to see the difference between simple present and continuous. There is a link for a short practice at the end. There are references on this web site for example: http://esl.about.com/library/beginner/blwhatdoing.htm

http://a4esl.org/q/h/vm/sp_or_pc.html : another exercise. Do it on a piece of paper and then check the answer.

http://www.englishclub.com/esl-quizzes/grammar-1-present-continuous.htm : an exercise with options to practice. Just ten sentences but useful.
